Breaking Bad tops my list of favorites followed by Game of Thrones and The Big Bang Theory. There’re are a few dialogues to be remembered and not just cancer, here I list my favorite ones. Most of them on overcoming fear and being what you are.
So, have a read.
First one from WW.
What I came to realize is that fear, that’s the worst of it. That’s the real enemy. So, get up, get out in the real world and you kick that bastard as hard as you can right in the teeth. Walter White
One of the finest thoughts of being fearless comes directly from the lead actor Walter White. As Mahatma Gandhi also said “The enemy is fear. We think it is hate; but, it is fear.”
Why be cautious? We’ve got nowhere to go but up. Walter White
Again Mr. White is orating sermons on being free from fear and to believe in divine :P. And that’s in fact, true with no limits.
I hide in plain sight, same as you. Gustavo Fring
This dialogue from episode 8 of season 3 explains in a few words how Gus hides himself in the society by being a common business man running a food chain.
I am not in danger, Skyler. I am the danger! A guy opens his door and gets shot and you think that of me? No. I am the one who knocks! Walter White
Walter White, the man fighting with cancer knows no fear. You can’t kill a man twice, they say. Walter knows he’s strong, he’s magnificent and he has need not be afraid of his life. He didn’t have one.
If you don’t know who I am, then maybe your best course would be to tread lightly. Walter White
The confidence of the man who knows no fear is of course very high, right? Here he tells a DEA officer to ‘tread lightly’ because probably he’s too difficult to understand.
I did it for me. I liked it. I was good at it. And I was really – I was alive. Walter White
Love what you do, eh!
All bad things must come to an end. Walter White
Yes, sir! Having a bad day? Mind is boggling up with some non-sense? Political news, gossips, quarrels, blah blah and what not! They must come to an end! You’ll bring the darkness around you to an end. YOU.
Name one thing in this world that is not negotiable. Walter White
Hmm… old wisdom.
A man provides and he does it even when he’s not appreciated or respected or even loved. He simply bears up and does it, because he’s a man. Gustavo Fring
Well, we’re able to listen to this legendary The Godfather styled dialogue thanks to the wisdom of Gus, when he tries to convince Walter White to work for him.
What’s your favorite show and what are your favorite quotes from them?
